The Way to Set up a Replay Mod?

Make sure you have set up the API that’s recommended with Replay Mod. This is suggested in the download links. After download mod, then find your .minecraft folder:

  1. Windows: Go to the Start menu , then go to Run . Otherwise, do Windows Key + R. Then type % appdata% in the search bar and then go to the .minecraft folder .
  2. Linux: Press ALT + F2 in Precisely the Same time. You should generally possess your .minecraft. In case you don’t view it, trigger hidden folders with an CTRL + H combination.
  3. Mac: The minecraft folder is situated in User> Library> Application Support. If you can’t locate Application Support, then do Finder> Menu Bar: Go + Hold ALT> Library.

Next drag your mod’s .jar file into the mods folder, and it is located in your .minecraft. Launch the game, If so, congratulations, you have successfully installed Minecraft Forge. Done!

Replay Mod

Many software programs allow you to record your Minecraft games from your point of view. Your eyes are the camera, and spectators will be able to enjoy a third-person view at best, providing a better idea of the player’s environment. The Replay Mod from CrushedPixel and Johni0702 allows you to record your game in all its dimensions. Post-production gives you the possibility of moving the camera in the setting where you filmed yourself with fluid animations, and all the entities encountered.

It is the ideal tool for builders dreaming of showing their sites without calling a camera operator. The same goes for PVP enthusiasts wishing to share their exploits. This Mod is easy to use and works great, even if you are limited to Minecraft version 1.8. Also, note that the installation requires an additional step that I would discuss at the bottom of the article in the “Installation” section. I now suggest you take a tour of the features of the Replay Mod.

Film and watch

Once the mod is installed, your games will be automatically saved. A small message in the chat, as well as the appearance of the logo below, in the upper left corner of your screen, will attest to this. You get a typical gaming experience without slowing down. Once you exit your game to return to the home menu, the recording is complete, and the video is ready to be viewed.

If you don’t want your games to be filmed, go to the game options then to the “Replay Mod Settings” menu. The first two options, “Film single-player games” “Film multiplayer games,” are enabled by default. Click on the two boxes to deactivate the recordings, repeat the operation to reactivate them.

To review the videos, start processing them, go to the main menu, and click on “Replay Viewer.”

You need to select one of your shots to have access to several basic options that speak for themselves. The “Settings” button allows you to modify the options relating to the capture of your games. “Open Replays Folder” gives you direct access to the folder where all recordings – with the file extension “.mcpr” – are archived. “Upload” allows you to share your creations on the site of the creator of Replay Mod.

You can now double-click on one of the replays to watch it, start editing. At the top of the screen are these two bars called timelines: they show a timescale. The top one is the current viewing, and the bottom one is your edit table. Each has its “play” button so that you can scroll through your game (you can also use the P key ) or your edit. In addition, a slider is available in both timelines so that you can navigate through time more efficiently.

You can also move in space with your standard directional keys (There may be conflicts between your tickets and those installed by the mod). So you can follow the players within a particular field boundary.

Mounting

Once your parts are filmed, you may need to shorten them, put together several replays to form a video that you can edit. You can use the tools in the “Replay Editor” menu to make quick adjustments like grouping replay and cutting your video’s start and end.

The first menu allows you to cut the start and end of a replay for which you previously noted the beginning and end timecode. Once these two data are entered and the correct repeat is selected, you can create a copy or overwrite the original.
The second menu is the assembler. You have to place the replay in the correct order and save, always choosing to make a copy or to delete all the fragments to keep only one.

Camera axis and space customization

Camera axis

Now we can finally move on to creating the video! The Replay Mod offers some tools for managing your camera. Tell yourself that what you see will be what the viewer sees; you are their eyes. You can tilt the camera to the right or left with the J and L keys. You can reset the axis with the K key.
For reasons of saving resources, the lighting is deactivated. This removes some shadows that you can reactivate using the W key.

Entity management

Much more than players, Replay Mod allows you to place 2D images even inside the scenery, with the possibility of managing several parameters such as opacity, size, orientation, all in the timeline with the possibility to make animations: The image is in an initial state – let’s call it “point A” – that you define when the yellow bar (the cursor) is at the start of the timeline. If you move this slider in time and set other parameters, the software will record a new state which we will call “point B” – you can put as many points as you want. The mod will calculate a transition so that the appearance of the “point A” image becomes the “point B” image smoothly. If in “point A,” at 1 minute, my idea of Minecraft-France is tiny and that in “point B,” at 2 minutes, it is vast, my image will grow between the two times.

Display

You have the option to hide players present in the game. To do this, you need to uncheck the boxes. “Remember hidden players” allows you to keep hidden players in memory in the replay file.

Invisible entities ( armor stand or others), game chat can also be hidden/displayed via the “Replay Mod Parameters” menu.

Filming

All you have to do is film! For a video to be considered completed and therefore exportable, you must have defined two “moments” and two “markers.” These points are placed in the bottom timeline, which is not necessarily synchronized with what you see ( top timeline ). To synchronize them, use the V key.

Camera movement between two landmarks varies between two modes. You must choose one before starting filming your Replay and must restart it in the event of a change via the “Replay Mod Parameters”:

  • Linear  (default)  : The camera draws curves between the marks.
  • Cubic: The camera draws straight lines between the marks.

You can make the camera movements visible using the H key  . This allows you to visualize the path of the latter.

Render and edit

Sharing

You can access this menu from the home of your game. It is a kind of network of registered users of the mod. Once registered on the site, you can download the creations of other players that they have uploaded. You have 100 megabytes of storage, free of charge, on the site.

The Way to Put in Minecraft Forge?

Minecraft Forge can be really a Modding API which means it is rather simple to put in a range of different Minecraft mods.

  1. Go to the Forge internet site, pick the Minecraft variant you want to conduct out of the side bar on the left, and then down load the installer.
  2. Open the .jar document you’ve just downloaded, then ensure’ Setup client’ is selected and then click okay.
  3. Once that’s finished you’ll find a success message.

You should see that the Minecraft Forge text at the lower left-hand corner and a Mods button below the multi-player.
